Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on www.david2goliath.com, what each one does, and how you can change your choices. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, do comparable things. We use the word cookies throughout this policy to cover all of them.

2. Your Choices Come First

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and the UK GDPR, we may only place non-essential cookies with your consent. So nothing beyond the strictly necessary runs on this site until you tell us it may.

When you first arrive you are asked to choose. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, no boxes are pre-ticked, and you can change your mind at any time using the button at the end of this page. We ask again at least once every twelve months.

3. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These are required for the website to work and cannot be turned off. They do not track you and are not used for advertising.

4. Analytics Cookies

Used only if you accept analytics. These tell us which pages are read and which links are used, so we can improve the site. They are configured with Google Consent Mode, IP addresses are not used to identify you, and we do not use them to build advertising profiles.

If you reject analytics, these are never set and no request is made to Google at all.

5. Marketing Cookies

We are not currently running any advertising or marketing cookies on this website. The option appears in our cookie controls so that, if we introduce them, they remain switched off unless you choose otherwise. This policy will be updated before any such cookie is used.

6. Third Party Content

Our booking page embeds a scheduling tool so you can choose a time without leaving the site. When that page loads, the scheduling provider may set its own cookies to operate the calendar. We do not control those cookies. You can avoid them by contacting us by email instead.

7. Managing Cookies In Your Browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of this or other websites working properly. The Information Commissioner's Office publishes plain-English guidance on cookies and your rights at ico.org.uk.

8. Contact
